Splitting the check allows you to divide the total order into multiple payments, making it easier for customers who wish to pay separately or use different payment methods. There are two ways to split a check in the Register:
Method 1: Using the Split Check Editor
Tap the Overflow Cart Menu button (three vertical dots) in the top-right corner of the screen above the cart.
Tap
Add Checkto add another check and manage multiple checks on a single order.Tap
Combine Checksif you need to merge all open checks on the order into one.Tap
Split Check Editorto view and manage all open checks on the order.
In the Split Check Editor, you can:
Remove checks.
Move items between checks.
Print individual receipts for each check.
Print all receipts at once.
Method 2: Splitting the Check at Checkout
After adding items to the cart, tap the
Paybutton to begin the checkout process.Tap the
Split Paymentbutton on the checkout screen. You will be prompted to choose how many equal parts you'd like to split the total cost. Select the number of splits (e.g., 2, 3, etc.) based on how many payments are needed.
Proceed to collect payment for each split. Each payment will proceed as its own transaction with separate receipts.
