Adjusting the Cart's Tax Profile

You can adjust the tax profile applied to items in the cart directly from the Register. This feature allows you to switch between different tax settings based on the specific needs of the transaction, such as applying a tax-exempt status or excluding tax from the item prices.

Adjusting the Tax Profile

1. Tap the Overflow Cart Menu button (three vertical dots) in the top-right corner of the screen above the cart.

2. Select Adjust Tax Profile from the dropdown menu.

3. Choose one of the following tax profile options:

   • Item Default: Applies the default tax settings for each item.

   • Do Not Include Tax in Item Price (Tax Exclusive): The tax will be added on top of the item price rather than being included.

   • No Tax (Tax Exempt): No tax will be applied to the items in the cart.

4. Tap Adjust Tax Profile to confirm your selection.

Note: If the tax profile is not set to Item Default, the active tax profile will be displayed above the cart.
