Setting the Prep Time

Setting accurate prep times helps ensure smooth online order fulfillment. You can adjust prep times directly from the Register for immediate updates or create preset prep times in the BackOffice for better long-term management.

Setting Prep Time in the Register:

If you need to update the prep time on the fly, you can do so directly from the Register.

1. Log into the Register.

2. Tap the Online tab.

3. Tap the Prep Time option in the upper-right corner.

4. Select the desired prep time preset for online orders.

Note: The Online Ordering page must first be enabled in Register Functionality settings.

Creating Prep Time Presets in the BackOffice:

For more control over prep times, you can create and manage presets in the BackOffice. This allows you to standardize prep times and quickly switch between them as needed.

1. Log into the BackOffice.

2. Click the Online Store tab.

3. Click the Prep Times tab.

4. To create a new prep time, click Add Prep Time.

5. Enter a name, duration, and select a color.

6. Optionally set it as the default prep time.

7. Click Create to confirm.

From this page, you can also edit or delete existing prep times as needed. Setting up prep time presets ensures consistency and efficiency when managing online orders.
