Introduction to Time Segments

Time Segments allow you to define service periods like breakfast, lunch, and dinner and set up the reporting hours (start and end times) for each.

By setting up Time Segments, you'll have access to additional reporting and tracking capabilities, and you can view your sales in the BackOffice under Reports > Sales Reports > Time Segments. See the Time Segments article for more information.

Add Time Segments in the BackOffice

  1. Log into the BackOffice.

  2. Click Settings > System > Time Segments from the left-side navigation menu.

  3. Click the Add Time Segment button.

  4. Give it a name (e.g., Breakfast) and assign a start and end time.

  5. Click Add.

  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you have entered all the Time Segments into the system.
