Add Tender Types

Introduction to Tender Types

Tender types are alternative payment options (outside of cash, credit, gift cards, etc.), such as third-party services, that you can accept as a tender. Tender Types are displayed when the user taps the Other button on the Register's checkout screen.

Example Tender Types

You can create and name your Tender Types. The most common options include third-party services such as Grubhub, DoorDash, etc. 

Add Tender Types in the BackOffice

1. Log into the BackOffice.

2. Click Settings > System > Tender Types from the left-side navigation menu.

3. Click the Add Tender Type button.

4. Give it a name (e.g., Grubhub). Click Add.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have all the Dining Options entered into the system.
