Register Functionality Settings
The Functionality settings in the Register allow you to customize various features that affect the user experience and workflow. Follow the steps below to adjust these settings.
Tap
☰in the top-left corner of the screen.Select Settings from the menu.
Select Functionality to access the available options.
Functionality Options:
Enable Tabs: Enable this option to allow the use of tabs in the Register, making it easier to manage multiple orders.
Manage Customers: Enable this option to enable customer management. This allows customer data to be saved for current and future orders, tabs, and analytics.
Send Button: Enable this option to add a
Sendbutton, allowing you to send the current order to printers before completing the transaction.Auto Log Out User After Each Transaction: Enable this option to automatically log out the user after each completed transaction.
Auto Log Out User After Save/Send Order: Enable this setting to automatically log out the user after saving or sending an order.
Auto Log Out User Idle Time: Set the duration of idle time before the system automatically logs out the user.
Till Quantity Selector: Enable this option to allow users to select a quantity from the bottom of the Register before adding an item to the cart.
Price Adjustment Updates Quantity Pop-Up: Enable this option to display a pop-up confirmation when adjusting the quantity of a price-adjusted item (e.g., updating the quantity of a discounted happy hour drink after the discount period has ended).
Lock Checks Containing Payment: Enable this option to prevent moving items between checks if a payment has already been applied to the check.
Enable Online Ordering: Enable this option to activate the online ordering page within the POS system, allowing customers to place orders online.
Send and Stay: Enable this option to add the
Staybutton, allowing you to send current order items while remaining in the open order to add more items. (e.g., Server sends the appetizers so the kitchen can start preparing them, then rings in the rest of the food.)
